Fourth Annual Illumination Ball

CHADS Coalition for Mental Health cordially invites you to our fourth annual Illumination Gala, held live at 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 13th. This year, to keep our guests and community members safe, the gala will be held live virtually via an online video platform streamed from our website. The night will still be one to remember, with plenty of opportunities to learn about how CHADS helps youth struggling with mental health issues and opportunities to help support our mission. To learn more about the event, and how and when to log on, check out our Frequently Asked Questions below.

FAQ

What is a virtual gala? For everyone's health and safety, instead of gathering for a large in-person celebration, we are hosting a one-hour live program online. We will be featuring remarks by CHADS supporters and employees, videos, a Fund-A-Need, and the opportunity to Light Up the Night together, while apart. You will be able to watch from the comfort of your home, on an online video platform streamed from our website.  The gala will be streamed live which means you will not be able to rewind or fast forward, so we encourage you to login early to "check your tech" and watch our pre-show, before the program begins promptly at 7pm.

How do virtual tables work? When you purchase a table, you and up to 9 additional guests will be given access to the live event.  Each household will receive a special gift. If deemed safe at the time of our event, you may want to host a small in-person gathering with our "table" and experience the event together.

How do I tune into the Live Event? The live video will be posted at the top of this page.  Reminder emails will be sent the week of the event that will include a link to this page. You simply need internet access and a screen (preferably a computer or TV) to watch the program.

Will you be able to see me? No, video will not be available for attendees.

What should I wear?  It is entirely up to you! If you'd like, you can dress up in cocktail attire, as if this was an in-person event, or you can enjoy the opportunity to participate in the event in your pajamas (or something in between).

How do I pledge in the Fund-A-Need?  Attendees will receive a link during the event to make a commitment to support CHADS. There will also be a phone number you can call to pledge your support.

Where do funds go? Funds will support CHADS life-saving programs during the coming school year. They will support our efforts to reach kids however we are able, whether that is virtually or in-person.

Will there be a recording available? Yes! We will post a link after the event and email the link to all attendees.

How will I receive the special gift? Gifts will be hand delivered (or mailed for non-local attendees) by CHADS.  We will be taking measures to ensure these are delivered safely.
